i’m probably ignorant or wrong but i think she is among the modern, original (oxymoron??) actress-turned-musicians (think scarlet johansson or zooey deschanel). her solo stuff is more on the country side compared to rilo kiley but her voice is pleasant either way. jenny lewis in moleskine.
